On Sunday, October 21, over 50 Prep supporters attended a six-course gourmet dinner at La Locanda in Voorhees. As live Italian music played in the background, guests dined on delicious homemade fare of broccoli rabe with sausage, prosciutto pizza, bowtie pasta with crabmeat, penne alla vodka, veal marsala, salmon, salad, cannoli, biscotti and cappuccino. After dinner, Mr. Don Cassolaro, Associate Dean of Guidance and Counseling, shared his special reserve of limoncello direct from Sorrento, Italy. A special thanks goes out to the Storr family, proprietors of “The Liquor Store” in Atlantic City, NJ, for donating the wine for all to enjoy.
The funds raised will benefit the Presidential Grant which is awarded to students who enhance the mission, philosophy, spirit and traditions of St. Augustine through their unique contributions to the school community.
